Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lisa Miller, a creative designer and leader with a diverse background in design, marketing and communications. My strengths include design and direction for print, online and social media campaigns.

I am dedicated to keeping communications consistent and on target. I thrive on coming up with solutions and ideas to solve marketing and communication needs. I work smoothly with copy writers, photographers and video producers to capture the message creatively.

Experience

Senior Graphic Designer, Lia Sophia 9/2009 – 2/2015
As the Senior Graphic Designer I was responsible for managing projects, executing and designing a variety of graphic pieces and coordinating with outside vendors. I worked directly with photographers and videographers to bring creative concepts to life. I worked as a leader within a team of designers and cultivated talents with junior designers to execute projects within brand guidelines. I played a key role in integrating and optimizing our communications through various social media channels.

Graphic Designer, Claretian Publications 7/2006 – 7/2009
As head graphic designer I worked daily on a high level of design for all aspects of print as well as online assets. I took direction from marketing and communications managers and executed projects from start to finish. A key accomplishment for me was overseeing the redesign of a 90 page annual bilingual publication. I was able to consistently streamline the process and stretch the dollar on printing processes. I also have had the opportunity to direct and work on photo shoots for various publications.

Graphic Designer, Body-Solid 11/2005 – 7/2006
As the graphic designer I was responsible for multi-tasking projects from conception to completion. I possessed a strong balance of creative design and met deadlines effectively. Design work included local and national ad campaigns as well as POP and marketing strategies for retail locations. From signage to product tagging, I worked to create a cohesive brand reaching from online to retail outlets.

Creative Director, Great Plains Group L.L.C. 12/2001 – 11/2005
As the creative director I was responsible for meeting with clients and taking direction, generating concepts and taking them through development and final delivery. I exhibited a high level of creativity and initiative in creating marketing materials (i.e. brochures, printed materials, digital photography of products, catalogs, flyers, package design, press kits, trade show booth displays). I also assisted in managing projects, coordinating and directing photo shoots and assigning and working with freelance artists.

Lisa is one of the most resourceful people I have ever met and have had the honor of working with on a myriad of projects. She is a fantastic collaborator and she approaches every project with the utmost enthusiasm and creativity. Her eye for design and detail are above average and it is evident that she enjoys what she does. As a copywriter, it was a joy working with her on projects and assignments as her “can do” attitude and positive viewpoint brought out the very best in the team. Lisa would be an invaluable asset to any marketing and creative team.
